Most wanted carnapper in Cagayan nabbed
Published February 11, 2021 6:56pm Operatives of the Philippine National Police (PNP) on Wednesday arrested Cagayan’s no.1 wanted person in Barangay Burgos San Guillermo, Isabela. According to the PNP, authorities arrested 24-year-old James Esturia, also known as Justin Imput, in Sitio Vietnam. The arrest warrant was issued by presiding judge Conrado Tabaco of the Aparro Regional Trial Court Branch 09 for the crime of carnapping. A bail bond of P180,000 was recommended for the violation of Republic Act 6539 or the Anti-Carnapping Act of 1972 as amended by RA 10883. “The Philippine National Police is sending a clear message: our uncompromising stance against carnappers and other criminals who endanger our streets and our families will be intensified until all of them are put behind bars,” PNP chief Police General Debold Sinas said in a statement.
