ASINGAN, Pangasinan - Authorities on Tuesday served a warrant of arrest against the most wanted person in this town for alleged child abuse. In an interview, Asingan town police deputy chief Lt. Elmer Tangalin identified the suspect as Diether Soria, 21, of Barangay Bantog here. "He was arrested on September 21 due to alleged child abuse for dating a minor. The case was two counts and the second warrant of arrest was issued on July 14, 2021 by Hon. Edwin B Maynigo, assisting Judge of Regional Trial Court Branch 49 in Urdaneta City, Pangasinan was served to him today (October 5)," he said. Tangalin said the suspect remained in the custodial facility of the police station due to his inability to pay for the bail amounting to PHP200,000 for each of the two cases.
