This morning. That shooter, an offduty Security Guard is voluntarily meeting with police now so they can determine whether he broke any laws when he fired his gun. 1 30 this morning, the guard on his way home, when he spotted a man trying to break into his fathers car parked here at the senior complex. There was a confront tate, Security Guard tried to detain the man that didnt work. The man hopped into his getaway car with three accomplices inside, they tried run down the Security Guard. One of the men hopped back out, reached into his waistband for what the guard tells police looked like a weapon. In selfdefense that guard fired several shots at them. Cart took off. Police found it a mile or so away. Turns out it was stolen. Not far from the car they found one of the men like on the ground suffering from two gunshot wounds.
