With the COVID-19 pandemic still continuing through the Upper Thumb, organizations that put on fish fries during Lent are opting to have them be drive-thru only.
One place that is trying Lenten fish fries for the first time is American Legion Post 499 in Port Austin. They will be from 4 to 7 p.m., or until dinners run out on March 5.
Meals cost $10 and include fried fish, fries, cole slaw, baked beans, a roll, and desert.
