Hong Kong university students and graduates on Friday paid solemn tribute to two campus statues marking Beijing’s 1989 violent suppression of Tiananmen Square democracy protesters, which were removed overnight as authorities steadily erase all remaining tributes to the event.

The St. Charles Public Library s Virtual Concert series continues on Sunday, Feb. 28, with a special performance by the EStrella Piano Duo.
The duo, Elena Doubovitskaya and Svetlana Belsky, burst onto the music scene in 2011 with a series of concerts celebrating the Great Russian masterpieces for piano duet.
Svetlana Belsky and Elena Doubovitskaya are superb pianists on their own; together as the EStrella Piano Duo, they are doubly superb, said John Puccio of Classical Candor.
