Andaz Maui at Wailea Resort is delighted to announce the appointment of Ritchard Cariaga as Executive Chef. Cariaga will be responsible for overseeing the menus and staff for all food and beverage programming at Andaz Maui including Ka ana Kitchen, Bumbye Beach Bar, and Lehua Lounge, in addition to banquet operations, in-room dining, and overseeing the operations for The Feast at Mokapu Luau.
Chef Jay Donahue brings over 18 years of experience to his role as Executive Chef at Shaker + Spear. Born in India and raised in Vermont after being adopted by his loving family, his interest in a culinary career was born early on, inspired by a summer job as a bus boy and the elaborate feasts his grandmother prepared for his family each holiday season.
