As per data compiled from market sources, yields on CDs maturing in three months stood in the range of 7.80-8.00 percent on February 15, up from 7.70-7.95 percent on February 1.
The central bank on January 29 conducted a 2-day VRR auction, in which banks submitted bids worth Rs 73,290 crore and the RBI only accepted bids worth Rs 25,001 crore at a 6.74 percent cut-off rate.
