Land off Bankfield Road and Mosley Common Road in Tyldesley (Astle Planning & Design Ltd) ANOTHER 71 family homes would ‘complement’ 154 already under construction at an industrial estate in Tyldesley, the developer behind the plans has said. Bellway Homes has revealed its latest plans for the land off Bankfield Road and Mosley Common Road, which the housebuilder has bought outright. The site is currently occupied by the Maxilead waste recycling and scrap business and a former commercial vehicle testing centre and MOT yard. Two warehouse units are located on the site, the majority of which lies derelict having been occupied by Ryder Ltd, which ceased its operations in September.
