DAVAO CITY – Eight vendors and one health worker tested positive for COVID-19 during “surveillance testing” at the Agdao Public Market where around 300 individuals had been subjected to reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) test last week, Mayor Sara Duterte here said Monday.
Hundreds of vendors in Agdao Market, Davao City undergo Covid- 19 tests as part of the local government’s “surveillance swabbing.” The “surveillance swabbing,” which will also be conducted in “high-risk” areas of the city, also aims to jack up the daily tests from 600 to 1,000 daily to capture individuals who are positive of Covid-19.(Keith Bacongco / MANILA BULLETIN)
