The work on the ambitious pan-city 24X7 water supply project in Chandigarh is now waiting for the Centre's approval. The project plan is set to be implemented by the end of March.

Chandigarh: The dream for 24x7 water supply seems to be a far-fetched one for the union territory as experts believe that it will be a reality by 2027. The officials will start the work on the project by February 2022. Chief Executive officer of the Chandigarh Smart city limited KK Yadav said that the agency will begin work from next year.
