ROCKPORT The Bangor Savings Bank Foundation recently awarded a $15,000 grant to the Rockport Library Foundation (RLF) in support of the construction of Rockport’s new library.
In recognition of the grant, Bangor Savings Bank Foundation Chair Joyce Clark Sarnacki said, in a Bank news release, “We truly appreciated the opportunity to support the Rockport Public Library campaign. Libraries will always be an integral part of our communities and are an investment in our future, contributing to our quality of life by both capturing the past and positively impacting the present in countless ways.”

Supporting health and wellness, providing for basic needs, making sure families have enough to eat, and administering mental health are just some of the focal points of 14 Midcoast Maine nonprofits that are receiving a total of $100,000 in grants from the Bangor Savings Bank Foundation through the Damariscotta Bank and Trust Foundation Special Project Fund.
