Pakistan pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi has personally apologised to Bangladesh batter Afif Hussain after hitting him with a throw during the second Twenty20 between the two teams in Dhaka on Saturday.
Pakistan got off to a winning start in the ongoing three-match T20I series against Bangladesh on Friday as they defeated the hosts by four wickets in a low-scoring thriller at the Shere Bangla Stadium in Dhaka. Pakistan held their nerves to chase down the target of 128 runs with four balls to spare after restricting Bangladesh for 127/7 in 20 overs.
Pakistan speedster Shaheen Shah Afridi lost his composure after getting smashed for a six in his second over, and in the very next ball, the pacer's wayward throw hit the ankle of the Bangladesh batsman. After sustaining the blow, Afif fell flat on the ground and was seen in a lot of pain.
