Wahida Akter, Secretary, Ministry of Agriculture, visited the pavilion of Metal Agro Limited and exchanged greetings with the company officials. The theme of Bangladesh Seed Congress this year is "Good seeds produce good crops, seeds are the source of production".
Agriculture Minister Dr Muhammad Abdur Razzaque on Saturday said the government will continue ongoing subsidies in the agriculture sector to ensure food security. He said the prices of all agriculture-related products including fertilizers have increased drastically in the global market.
