After student bitten, Bang Kaew dogs to be caged, muzzled
PHUKET: The dog that chased and bit a 15-year-old girl while she was walking to school on Tuesday must remain caged to prevent further attacks on people walking by, Phuket City Municipality Chief Administrative Officer (Palad) Chalermporn Piyanarongroj has announced.

The news follows Mr Chalermporn yesterday (Mar 11) holding discussions with the dog owner, who has been asked to be named only as “Ms May” since the incident, which left a bite wound on the girl’s left calf.

SAMUT PRAKAN: A Chinese man supected of selling firearms online was arrested and nine assault rifles, two grenades and large amount of ammunition seized at a condominium room in Bang Phli district on Thursday.
The arrest was made by officers from the technology crime division, Bang Kaew police and immigration, with a warrant from the Samut Prakan Provincial Court.

SAMUT PRAKAN: A member of the We Volunteer (WeVo) protest guard who was arrested on a court warrant was released by Bang Kaew police on Sunday night after about 200 angry members of the group gathered outside the police station.
On Friday, Tossathep Art Duangnet, 24, was called in for questioning by Bang Kaew police and detained.
On Saturday, police finally obtained a warrant from the Samut Prakan Court to arrest him, for allegedly spray-painting the base of a portrait of His Majesty the King and other spots along King Kaew road in Bang Phli district.

RANONG: Seven Myanmar nationals were detained with 3 tonnes of smuggled rubber sheets in three long-tail boats on the Kraburi river in Muang district on Sunday, Thai Maritime Enforcement Command Centre (Thai-MECC) Region 3, reported.
Rr Adm Choengchai Chomchoengpaet, the 3rd Naval Area commander and director of MECC-3, said the three boats were intercepted by a naval patrol. Their cargoes were covered with canvas.

SAMUT PRAKAN: Fourteen Myanmar workers at a factory in Covid-19-plagued Samut Sakhon province were rushed off the premises and abandoned in neighbouring Samut Prakarn s Bang Phli district on Tuesday night.
Police at Bang Kaew station were informed of their presence about 11pm. They were left with their bags on Soi Green Lake, at the entrance to Green Lake housing estate off Bang Na-Trat Road in tambon Racha Thewa.
Ony six of them had passports.
