The State Railway of Thailand is inviting companies to put in bids for the commercial development of Bangkok's new rail hub, the Krung Thep Aphiwat Central Terminal, as well as stations along the city's Red Line.
The State Railway of Thailand (SRT) has invited bids for commercial areas covering altogether about 55,000 square metres at Bangkok's Bang Sue Grand Station and stations on the Red Line electric railway system.
The Rama VI steel railway bridge over the Chao Phraya river was closed for repairs from Monday, forcing all South-bound trains to start from Bang Bamru railway station in Bang Phlat district instead of Hua Lamphong, the State Railway of Thailand announced.
