A winter gallery of SnowDays Snow Sculptures is still going ahead in Banff this January running 20-31, despite lockdown.
Snow sculptors, David Ducharme, originally from Quebec, and Susanne Ruseler, from the Netherlands, who were commissioned for the exhibit, have been working on their piece Drifting Broncos on Banff Avenue.

Banff will not have any events over Christmas, except for Banff & Lake Louise Tourism (BLLT)’s Christmas Lighting Trail at the Parks Canada Admin grounds for residents.
“The Town has cancelled all events and activities for New Year’s Eve as we could not host these without causing gatherings, which are not allowed by AHS,” said Jason Darrah, director of communications with the Town of Banff.
