Kayastha, who passed away on Wednesday, had been in a vegetative state for the past 17 years after suffering a gunshot wound to his temple on April 9, 2006. He was 14 years then.
KATHMANDU, May 11: Mukesh Kayastha, the wounded 'living martyr' of the second mass movement, has passed away. Mukesh Foundation mentioned that he passed away at Shir Memorial Hospital in Banepa at 8 pm on Wednesday during his treatment.
