Dean crawford was a member of the faculty at Georgia State University College of law in atlanta where he founded and codirector of the study for metropolitan growth which developed new models for fieldbased education and competitive and environmental landuse. A degree from Harvard Law School and degrees in history from cambridge and columbia universities. San francisco, you say we must be stuck. Since friday, 64, 64, 62. The normal is 70. 30s for a few, 40s for many as well. If theres a puff of a breeze it could be holding up some temps. I cant find a 30 in the east bay yet. We have a few clouds but looks like a sunny day with highs in the mid to upper 60s, maybe a few 70s. We had an issue on the peninsula. Is that better now . It is, but unfortunately what happened, we had one accident cleared and another came in to take its place. Well get there in a moment. Well start on highway 4, slow this morning as it normally is coming through to bay point from pittsburg, and 680 slow as well. Westbound 24 and bay bridge are slow, so its a slow commute here, 880 northbound slowing after high street. The san mateo bridge is a little better. We had a series of crashes, redwood city, another in san carlos. Southbound 101 is very slow. You could use 280 down the peninsula, looking good heading south there. South bay commute is beginning to fill in,
Not a huge move. Big enough. 57. Also up towards santa clara, still kind other ever a popular number there. Overall, the fog that is there is not going to do much. It will burn off. The high kicks in for a couple of days. If you say oh my gosh, i need cooler weather, dont you worry. It is on its way sunday into monday. The next few days are sunnyside up and warmer. 70s, 80s, and mid 90s. Still walnut creek. We are still looking at that. We also have some problems on the commute, on the pass. Ill kind of wrap all that in. First of all, lets begin at walnut creek where southbound 608, they were clearing a crash. It hasnt caused a big backup. There were some injuries and the medics were on the scene. We dont have a big backup just yet. Also looking at 24680, the commute looks good. 24 is in good shape to the tunnel. Grant line road has traffic blocked in the left lane. Now it is causing a backup on 580 and 205, put just slower than usual. Once you get to dublin it looks pretty good to hay
High pressure kicks in for a couple of days. Sit not going to hang around long. Temperatures are all well above normal for this time of year. Any fog is a shortterm thing. 40 for a few. 50 for many, and 60s for some. As temperatures, though, are probably about as cool as they are going to get. Pope valley, 49. There are some low 50s. Very warm air. High pleasure right over your house and mine is going to equal some more temperatures at least until about saturday and then sunday, we start a cooling trend, and then the whole system coming in. Sit going to really drop those temperatures a good 20 degrees by the time we get to monday. 70s and 80s and 90s today, though. 6 01 on a thursday. So far so good, but what about now . Sunnyvale, upper 80s near 90. 84 in the city and 72 and pacifica. Napa, 88. Proffered, crawford, 89 degrees. A little fog. There are some 40s to the north. Did not take long to start warming up. The city is still a 63, even though the buoy temp is 54. Note breeze whatsoever. Mid50s and the upper hills. Is warm but even the coast, bay, and lynn temps will be well above average today. The high kicking in for 2 1 2, three days. Just like that, it will start to cool down on sunday. A big change on monday. More that coming up in the next couple of days. May be our first rain of the season for some on monday. 70s, 80s, 90s today. 7 01 am. A little hiccup or two early. Now, it is better. It is better than it was. We had a couple of things, as we mentioned. We have not had a lot of serious crashes. Yesterday and today, weve been okay when it comes to super serious things. List begin with the east bay commute. Some people leaving the east bay. You can see a little bit of a backup at the east ba
