4 Cameroonian soldiers killed by separatist fighters - World News

2021-04-30 14:05:32 GMT2021-04-30 22:05:32(Beijing Time) Xinhua English YAOUNDE, April 30 (Xinhua) At least four Cameroonian soldiers were killed by separatist fighters during an attack overnight into Friday in the West region of the country, according to security sources. The separatist fighters who were well armed ambushed and attacked a military post in Menfoung locality in Galim subdivision of the region, a senior security officer who asked not to be named told Xinhua. Two separatist fighters were killed during the attack and several others escaped with wounds, the officer said. Separatist fighters who called themselves Marines of Bambalang claimed responsibility for the attack and released a video on social media of weapons they seized during the attack.
