All-Time Alabama Crimson Tide Players in the NFL By Team
Which NFL teams have had the most former Alabama Crimson Tide football players on their roster, and which have had the fewest
Author:
Same goes for the Denver Broncos.
Neither franchise has had too many Crimson Tide players over the years.
Granted, the Broncos drafted wide receiver Jerry Jeudy, but heading into 2020, they and the Houston Texans were tied for the fewest number of former Alabama players all-time.
The Texans were understandable, they ve only been around since 2002.
The Broncos were founded in 1960, the Vikings in 1961.
It sort of makes sense, though, since each franchise is located in the heart of a conference other than the SEC, and Alabama isn t exactly known for its cold-weather players (although Joe Namath and Bart Starr did pretty well leading northern teams.

Author:
When it comes to developing talent for the next level, Nick Saban remains unchallenged.
Since he arrived at Alabama in 2007, the Crimson Tide has had 33 players selected in the first round of the NFL draft.
That s an average of one per NFL team, with an extra player left over.
That ties Joe Paterno for the most in college football history at one school. Overall, Saban s had 38. That number doesn’t include players he recruited and helped developed, but were drafted after he had moved on from either Michigan State or LSU.

In 2019, Alabama had the most players of any college, 56, on active 2019 NFL Kickoff rosters. A year later it had 57, which didn t include five who had opted out of playing the anything-but-normal season due to the coronavirus pandemic.
