Police say the gunman then began driving down the highway shooting people from his vehicle. 22 miles away in odesa, texas. The gunman then hijacked a Us Postal Service truck and continued his shooting spree. He was then shot and killed by police in a Shopping Center parking lot. Authorities have identified the gunman but are not releasing much information at this point only that he is a white man in his 30s.
