The pain and the horror of the whole process, of being relocated and displaced, of gentrified community you can’t imagine the pain that goes through your mind.” These are the words of Donald Gresham, who is president of the Baltimore Redevelopment Action Coalition for Empowerment (BRACE), a nonprofit that aims to promote economic and racial equity in the city, particularly for the former and remaining residents of the Middle East neighborhood.
