Ballyshannon Tommy, which sold for €3,200. The Midland and Western Livestock Improvement Society hosted the second of the May sales this weekend, with the Angus breed making up most of the lots present. Strong pedigree and commercial demand meant a few super prices were achieved, along with an excellent clearance rate. In total, 35 of the 39 Angus bulls on offer sold to average just shy of €2,450. Leading the way Leading the prices with a top call of €6,000 was the very first bull into the ring, Bunlahy Sean Dubh ET. Bunlahy Sean Dubh ET which sold for €6,000. Bred by brothers Aidan and David Reynolds from Ballinalee, Co Longford, the powerful October bull is out of the herd’s famous Bianca line.
