Community Emergency Corporation Donates Bleeding Control Kits in Ballston Spa
The Ballston Spa Community Emergency Corporation recently donated Bleeding Control Kits to the Ballston Spa Central School District for the district’s six schools and also provided a kit for the St. Mary’s School. Ballston Spa Middle and High School Resource Officer Deputy Jonathan Becker coordinated the donation after working with the school district’s Health Leader Colleen Ferlo and Athletic Director David Sunkes to bring STOP THE BLEED® classes to Physical Education classes and the school district’s nursing team. The kits are invaluable to have accessible during emergencies when utilized before emergency services professionals are able to be on scene for additional assistance.
