martha: we know there s a lot of absentee, male in ballot ballots. the numbers grow dramatically with every election. can that account for these 92,000 ballots, they came in late and sent in on time? first first off, 65 other counties figured out how to do it right. martha: good point. these counties couldn t. we don t know. we ve been asking the questions. we still to this day don t know. my goal is to make sure that this is done properly. that s why i ve asked the fbi to come in and do an investigation, the attorney general demanded that happened. i ve asked the sheriffs to be vigilant. we want to make sure we have a free and fair election. martha: 12,000 votes is correct at this point. you lost a court decision today to you wanted to impound the vote counting machines when they are not in the actual process of the recount. did you want them physically removed? what did you mean by that?
they ought to make it easier for people to vote. this week we saw long lines of people. look at that. turning out in the heat to cast ballot ballots for the first week of early voting in georgia. but we do have early voting data from the more than 4 million votes that have been cast around the country. you can t open up those ballots. we can t tell you who those votes are for literally, but based on party registration and modeling data, the consensus from everybody who is looking at the 4 million early votes cast thus far is that it s really good news for the democrats. the clinton campaign, quote, has a greater percentage of banked votes, meaning votes already cast than president obama did at this point four years ago. looking at the swing states for which we ve got early voting data already, clinton, that means has a higher proportion of the votes that have been cast already than obama did at this point in the race in 2012. you might remember that obama won the race in 2012 by kind o
