A man has been arrested following the seizure of €300,000 worth of cannabis in North County Dublin.
€5,000 in cash was also found following searches of a house in Lusk, as part of an ongoing investigation targeting local drugs distribution networks.

During the search, twenty one packages of cannabis herb were found along with smaller amounts of cannabis resin and cocaine.

Gardaí have seized €300,000 in suspected cannabis, along with €5,000 in cash, in a raid at a house in the Lusk area on Thursday.
The Balbriggan District Drugs Unit carried out the search as part of investigations into local drug distribution networks.
Gardaí found 21 packages of herbal cannabis, along with smaller amounts of cannabis resin and cocaine.
Packaging equipment and other drug related paraphernalia were also seized at the scene.
A man in his early 40s was arrested at the scene and is currently being held at Balbriggan Garda Station, where he can be detained for up to a week.
