The death of Gombe State Permanent Secretary, Balarabe Poloma, was on Sunday confirmed by the state government. Poloma died at the age of 60, one week before his retirement from service. Before his death, Poloma was said to have served three administrations as the Permanent Secretary, Gombe State Government House. Governor Muhammadu Yahaya mourned the death of Poloma and offered his condolences to his family among others.
