Horse racing has the highest rate of concussions of any sport including American football but safety protocols for the jockeys have lagged behind other athletes. Researchers from the UK Sports Medicine Research Institute are working to change that by developing a brand-new baseline concussion testing protocol specifically for jockeys, affectionately known as "the Graham Test."
