With so many gyms shuttered during the height of the pandemic, the hottest home gym equipment startups including Peloton and Mirror, CLMBR and Fight Camp used the opportunity to flex their sleek, fit-tech machines.
While most of that equipment feels futuristic, Bala fitness accessories take a style-first, fitness-second approach. Launched in 2018, the company took the retro concept of 1980s wrist and ankle weights reminiscent of a Jane Fonda workout video and outfitted them for the modern fitness fanatic as well as the style-conscious fashionista.
