Galesburg Police responded to Baked Pizza on Saturday night for a report of a theft. A 21-year-old female employee met with police and said someone had stolen her car keys and wallet. The woman said that while she was working, an unknown white male subject dressed in all black entered the restaurant and purchased a soda. The male subject departed a short time later without drinking the soda, which employees thought was odd. A short time later, the employee realized her keys and wallet were missing. Minutes later, the woman realized an unauthorized purchase was made at Grand Liquor for $25. Police then responded to Grand Liquor and observed a male subject matching the victim's description leaving the store. A store employee gave officers the receipt that matched the amount the victim said the transaction was for.
