The management of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) has promoted 267 junior staff members of the agency as approved and confirmed by the Personnel Management Board on Promotion (Junior Staff Committee). A statement signed by the spokesperson for the agency, Adebayo Taofiq, said the agency started releasing the promotion letters on Friday.
The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority has deployed personnel, patrol, and tow vehicles to some areas in the state to ensure free movement during the Christmas and New Year celebrations.
To ensure easy movement of traffic in and out of the Apapa Port, the Lagos State Traffic Management Agency (LASTMA), has impounded and towed away 78 illegally parked container trucks on Ijora Bridge. A statement issued by LASTMA's Director, Public Affairs and Enlightenment, Taofiq Adebayo, said the exercise was led by the general manager of LASTMA, Bakare-Oki Olalekan.
