Fr Peter S Noronha MANGALURU: Former director of Father Muller Hospital, Fr Peter S Noronha, passed away here on Wednesday. He had suffered a massive cardiac arrest a few days was being treated at Fr Mullers Medical College Hospital. He was 85. Hailing from Bondel, he was ordained as a priest on December 4, 1961. He served as assistant parish priest in Bajpe and Bejai parishes, and as parish priest at Katipalla, Udupi, Bantwal (Modankap) and Bendore parishes. He served as director of Father Muller Hospital from 1978 to 1988. After his retirement, he served as the resident priest at Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College. From June 1, 2020, he was residing at St Zuze Vaz Home, Jeppu.

One of the accused is working in a medical shop and had access to scheduled ‘H’ drugs that cannot be sold without prescription.
