Man held with over 6 kg charas in Himachal s Kullu ANI | Updated: Apr 08, 2021 14:04 IST
Kullu (Himachal Pradesh) [India], April 8 (ANI): Himachal Pradesh Policearrested a man with over 6 kilograms of charas in Bajaura of Kullu district on Wednesday.
The police said that the recovery was done during a search conducted on a bus.
Gaurav Singh, Superintendent of Police, Kullu said, Police party was conducting nakabandi in Bajaura. A Volvo bus came from Bhuntar side and it was stopped for checking. During checking, 6 kg 528 gram of charas was recovered from the possession of passenger namely Kushvind, aged 20 years, resident of village Manpur Khurd.

The Himachal Pradesh Police on Sunday said it has arrested two youngsters in Kullu district after recovering two kgs of charas (cannabis) from their possession.
Ankit Ashok Nisar (29) hailing from Devi Nagar in East Mumbai City and Mihir Ojha Labhshankar (24) hailing from Mumbai’s Brihan area were arrested and 1.816 kg charas was found in their possession, Kullu Superintendent of Police Gaurav Singh said.
The SP said the drugs were recovered from their possession at Bajaura when they were travelling in a Delhi-bound bus.
