ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company emerged as the biggest participant in the qualified institutional placement (QIP) of equity shares contributing 20% of the issue. Other investors include Societe Generale, Bandhan Mutual Fund and Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance.
“A 1.8 times growth in its AUM, from Rs 56,085 crores in FY2020 to over Rs 1,00,000 crore in the current financial year is reflective of this growth trajectory,” the company statement said.
