High wind removes section of roof

A sudden high wind blew off parts of a roof at a home in Bairds Road, Lower Carlton, St James, on Saturday. The incident happened around 2:25 p.m. at the four-bedroom wooden structure. The five occupants escaped injury. (Nation News)

On Monday, February 22, the team will start in St Peter, when they go into Battaleys, Road View, Risk Road, Cemetery Road, Mullins, Mullins Terrace with Avenues, Battaleys Mews, and environs. The next day, Tuesday, February 23, the Unit will fog areas in St Peter and St James, including Gibbs, Gibbs Glade, Piedmont Road, Lower Carlton with Avenues, and surrounding districts. They will return to St James, on Wednesday, February 24, and focus on Carlton, Bairds Road, Doughlin Road, Weston, Crick Hill, Mount Standfast, Mount Standfast Tenantry, and environs.
