This was after KSPCB conducted an inspection of the site on June 13 and came across multiple violations. The notice sent to the director of Bagmane Developers Pvt Ltd highlighted that the violations are serious, and further action will be initiated if no satisfactory reply with an action taken report is received by KSPCB within seven days of the notice receipt.
KSPCB had also claimed to initiate action against the organization under section 31 (A) of the Air Act by issuing directions to BESCOM to disconnect the power supply, and BWSSB to disconnect the water supply. Under the provisions of the Air Act, a criminal case was to be filed against the builder too.
Cpcb: This comes after KSPCB recently issued a notice to Bagmane Developers Pvt Ltd for violating guidelines on noise pollution and the Karnataka High Court’s order curbing construction during the night hours (between 10 pm and 6 am), at its campus located in a residential sub-locality of CV Raman Nagar.
