K-pop entertainment company SM has announced a free online concert to ring in the new year, titled SMTOWN LIVE: Culture Humanity. The concert will begin at 1 PM KST on January 1, 2021 (11 PM EST/8 PM PST on December 31, 2020 for the US). It will be streamed without charge on various platforms including YouTube, Twitter, TikTok, and V Live. The lineup of featured performers includes TVXQ, Super Junior, Red Velvet, SuperM, aespa, NCT, and soloists like Girls Generation s Taeyeon, SHINee s Taemin, and EXO s Baekhyun & Kai.
