Government school in Belthangady, located in Belthangady taluk, has been revitalized by the Baduku Kattona Team and various organizations. The school, established in 1979, now provides education for grades 1 to 7 with 124 students and seven teachers. The renovation project included constructing a new roof, providing educational materials, building a gate, and painting the walls. Inauguration is scheduled for this week, showcasing the collaborative effort to improve government schools.
A group of like-minded individuals have united to address the urgent repair needs of the government school in Halepte, Ujire. Various organizations, including the Baduku Kattona Team, Rotary Club Belthangady, CSR Dept Canfin Homes Limited, Bengaluru, and Shri Kshetra Dharmasthala Rural Development Project, have come forward to undertake the repair work. The dilapidated school building poses a risk of collapse, and temporary measures have been taken to facilitate classes.
