CARING FOR CURLS: Badria Ahmed
GROWING UP in Sweden, Badria Ahmed found it challenging to find hair products that could care for her thick Afro hair. When she was seven years old, her mother chemically permed her hair as she felt she couldn’t care for it properly.
Fifteen years later, Badria embarked on her natural hair journey. But she was still unsatisfied by what was on offer to moisturise her tight curls sufficiently. She began experimenting, coming up with her own creations, and launched her own brand, Holy Curls, in May 2019.
