Several Rock County Sheriff’s Deputies are being sent to Madison this weekend to help with security in case of violent protests. Sheriff Troy Knudson says Dane County made the request. The FBI has issued a warning about the potential for armed protests at all fifty state Capitals and Washington. The Badger State Sheriff’s Association has also issued a statement reassuring everyone’s constitutional rights will be protected, but anyone violating the law will face consequences.
