MADISON, Wis. Wisconsin Badgers men’s basketball senior guard Brad Davison says he will be returning for another season in Madison.
Davison made the announcement Wednesday with a statement posted on the Wisconsin Basketball Twitter account, saying there is no place he would rather be than Madison.
“Being a Badger is a privilege. I am grateful for one last ride with my coaches and teammates this upcoming season!” Davison wrote. “I would not want to go out any other way than playing in front of Badger Nation at the Kohl Center!”
Davison was eligible for a 5th year after the NCAA decided to allow players to have an extra year of eligibility due to the 2019-2020 season being cut short due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Wisconsin men’s basketball had a handful of senior eligible to use the extra COVID year of eligibility and return to the Badgers. Brad Davison is doing just that.
The senior guard took to Twitter Wednesday afternoon to announce his return to the program for “one last ride”:

Davison averaged 10 points and over three rebounds a game last season. He also scored a team-high 29 points in the Badgers’ Round of 64 tournament win against North Carolina.
The Minnesota native has started 124 out of 128 games in his career to this point.
