North Baddesley Infants tackle clean air initiative

North Baddesley Infant School North Baddesley Infant School has joined 61 schools across Hampshire in the Clean Air Scooter Challenge which ran between 14-18 June. The challenge week is in association with Clean Air Day on June 17 which encouraged scooting and active travel on the school run for children, parents and staff. The challenge was to get as many children as possible scooting to school every day for a week and the schools with the highest average number of children taking part will win a Scooterpod for their school. Some children scooted every day, while others arrived on bikes, skateboards and their own two legs.

Test Valley edging to Covid hotspot status | Romsey Advertiser

A map showing the infection rates across Test Valley TEST Valley is edging closer to becoming a coronavirus hotspot. The rolling rate of infections across the borough is 97.5 per 100,000 people – one of the highest in Hampshire. In the seven days to June 25, the latest data available, 123 cases were reported. This was 33.37 per cent higher than the number from the previous seven days. However, Romsey Town is faring well and is the only region of Test Valley that reported fewer than three cases in the seven days to June 25. As shown by this map, it is a small white section in contrast to greens and blues. These colours show that at least three cases have been reported.
