The decision came a day after the ECP showed concerns over delay in the process and directed the scrutiny committee to meet thrice a week. The last meeting of the panel took place on Dec 24 after a gap of over two months, but the DG Law of the ECP, who heads the committee, had held the counsel representing the parties responsible for the snail-paced progress.
