Some members of the All Progressives Congress have opposed the proposed bill of the Lagos State Assembly to move Alimosho Federal Constituency into Badagry Division.
They opposed the move at a stakeholders’ meeting organised by the APC leaders in the Badagry Division, held at the Amuwo Odofin Local Government Area in Lagos on Tuesday.
The stakeholders, in a communique after the meeting, said any attempt to tamper with the structure on the ground would be resisted by the division.
In the communique, signed by Mr Rabiu Oluwa, APC leader in Badagry Division, the stakeholders rejected the proposed re-delineation of the long-existing and historical structures of the divisions in Lagos State.

To obtain land from the Lagos State Government Schemes, you must first visit this office to obtain and fill a form that needs to get to the LUAC (Land Use Allocation Committee) within the same collection day. Please note that you must have half of the amount for purchasing the land and be willing to pay on collecting this form.

Badagry (Lagos State), Jan. 30, 2021 Badagry Prime newspaper in Lagos State is planning a town hall meeting where it expects readers to assess its performance in its 15 years of community journalism.
The Publisher, Mr Felix Godonu, made the disclosure in a press release on Saturday in Badagry, Lagos State.
According to the publisher, the event will take place in April with the theme: “Have We Served You Well?”
Godonu said that activities line up for the 15th anniversary celebration include awards to honour business owners and other organisation that have taken Badagry as their home.
“Awards will also be given to best performed political office holders in Badagry Division.

Badagry (Lagos State), Dec. 18, 2020 (NAN) Stakeholders in Badagry, including the local government chairman and Badagry Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (BACCIMA), have commended Federal Government for the reopening of four land borders in the country.
The stakeholders told newsmen on Thursday in Badagry that the reopening of the four land borders was a step in the right direction.
Mr Segun Onilude, Chairman, Badagry Local Government, said that the closure of Seme land border had inflicted a lot of pain and hardship on the residents of the border communities.
According to him, most residents who are into legitimate businesses were deprived of their means of livelihoods due to the 16-month border closure.
