The laying of Metro line is seen further fostering the growth of real estate market in Indore already heading north with close to Rs 150 crore revenue from property registration in a month.
According to IDA officials, the internal 18 meters to 75 meters and roads earmarked in the master plans and other major roads are being constructed. Construction of eight-lane roads has also started.
Last year, the district administration agreed to give 25 acres back to DAVV if it gave space on its UTD campus for the construction of a police station and a temple.
Additional municipal commissioner Abhay Rajangaonkar, superintending engineer Ashok Rathore, consultant and representative of the road construction agencies and others were present.
