attorney general in connecticut and i think that continues to close and i m predicting that as an upset. i think that the people of kentucky know that jack conway is common sense and he s a moderate and i look forward to him being part of our moderate caucus in the democratic party. and finally, during this hour, we told you that despite all the fuss democrats are kicking up about political ads funded by anonymous donors, democrats are still outspending republicans in overall ad buys. but we did let this one slip by. these funds, karl rove s group said they re going to plunk down $50 million in the last three weeks of the house races. that s more than the democratic congressional campaign committee will spend in the entire cycle. not right. the democratic committee in charge of keeping the house democratic recently announced that it intends to spend $60 million in the last three weeks. but any way you add it up, there is a lot of money out there being pumped into the airwaves.
meaning you worked at least 104 days for the government under bush. but here was palin today. folks, we need your voice now more than ever. americans now spend 100 days out of the year working for government before we even start earning money for ourselves, for our families, for our small businesses. 100 days out of the year. as promised now, politico s senior reporter, ken vogel. great thanks for your time tonight. great to be with you, keith. opinions aside, do i have the actual outline right? the firm, russo marsh have pushed back this idea they re making a lot of money off of it. yes, we received $1.9 million in payments from this pac, which is now the tea party express, but a lost that was overhead, we passed it through to television stations for ad buys, to e-mail list vendors, to rent lists, but then that comes back to them because they re using these ads and e-mails to direct people
bought by this russian troll farm on facebook was a black lives matter ad that was targeted specifically to the cities of baltimore and figu ferguson, missouri. obviously, two cities where by that point in either late 2015 or earlier 2016, two cities which had been the site of some of the largest and most violent protests over police shootings of african-american men. this is the first example to date of where these ads were specifically targeted. again, this is one add out of more than 3,000. so we shouldn t infer that every single add or most of the ads, even, were about the black lives matter issue. but what it tells us is that the russians who bought these ads were sophisticated enough to understand that targeting a black lives matter ad to the communities of baltimore and ferguson would help sew political disordcord, which we believe was one of the motives here with these ad buys.

. welcome, we re awfully glad to have you. thank you. we re going to get right to it as hillary clinton is playing defense as the election goes into its final days, chasing donald trump into the blue states, losing ground in the polls. the democratic nominee is following the visit to michigan. on friday just four days before the general election, clinton will visit the state, which last voted for a republican 28 years ago. the clinton campaign also announced six-figure ad buys in michigan, colorado, new mexico, wisconsin, and virginia. until recently, all were considered safely in her column, while also continuing her play into arizona. one of the top super pacs behind clinton is ramping up ad spending in four states, returning to colorado and for the first time wisconsin. this as the trump campaign puts its faith in the ability to flip traditionally blue states. yesterday they laid out their target states for an electoral
