SEATTLE - People in downtown Seattle woke up to quite the political message Thursday morning.
The group Backbone Campaign projected, Arrest Trump , Democracy not Dictatorship and Trump Endangers Us All onto a downtown building.
The activists, based on Vashon Island, describe their protests as artful.
They say they felt like they needed to make a statement after pro-Trump protesters stormed the U.S. Capitol on Wednesday. We engage in protest all the time, but we never endanger other people, said Backbone Campaign Director Bill Moyer. And to watch the blatantly violent insurrection yesterday, it was sickening, honestly.

Seattle - Calls for the Vice President to invoke the 25th Amendment continue to grow after chaotic scenes of violence and destruction played out at the halls of Congress on Wednesday.
Those calls include several lawmakers in our state, along with people who saw the chaos play out on TV.
One of those people is Bill Burgnoli from Seattle. He s part of a group called Backbone Campaign . On Thursday night, they hung a banner above the Interstate 5 overpass near North 50th. The banner read: Remove Trump.
