A local brewery owner embroiled in a donation controversy announced that he’s given all of the proceeds to the NAACP. He was previously accused of mishandling funds by giving it to his personal trainer.
Weathered Souls Brewing owner, Marcus Baskerville, launched a social justice campaign called Black is Beautiful last summer. He offered his stout beer recipe to breweries nationwide. In exchange, they were urged to donate the proceeds from sales to local foundations supporting equality and inclusion.

SAN ANTONIO Weathered Souls Brewing owner, Marcus Baskerville, launched a social justice campaign called Black is Beautiful last summer. He made a deal with breweries nationwide; they could use the recipe for his stout beer and create a beer with their own twist.
