Colorado to play third outdoor game in a more natural setting by Ron Knabenbauer @RonKnab / ColoradoAvalanche.com The Colorado Avalanche has played in the league s outdoor game spectacles twice before, skating in front of capacity crowds in stadiums close to home in Denver and Colorado Springs. What it will do next will be something the Avalanche players have never experienced at the NHL level. In fact, it s something that hasn t been done in league history. The Avs will play in their third-ever outdoor contest on Saturday when they take on the Vegas Golden Knights, but this time there will be no fans clad in burgundy and blue in attendance. Staged on the south shore of Lake Tahoe in Nevada, the Colorado players will play in as much of a natural setting as possible while still having a feel of an NHL game.

Maisha Islam Monamee Maisha Islam Monamee Go Back To Roots , a solo project by artist Joydeb Roaja, is currently on exhibit in Chobi Mela Shunno at DrikPath Bhobon, Panthapath. It features 10 artworks, along with a video, and attempts to highlight the cultural identities of indigenous communities in the hill tracts of Chattogram. Joydeb has been working with art for the past two decades, and all his works revolve around the themes of life in the hill tracts. His artworks displayed at the exhibition reflect the plight of indigenous communities, who have to withstand cultural destruction. Through my work, I want to voice my opinions regarding the development of our region while also showcasing our culture in the truest form, he shared. Apart from working as an independent artist, he is involved with Porapara, an alternative art space.
