ANP inducts party stalwart in provincial council July 16, 2021 PESHAWAR: Awami National Party (ANP) provincial president Aimal Wali Khan has nominated former candidate for National Assembly and a provincial leader of the party Arbab Tahir Nadeem Khan as member of provincial council of the party. In a statement issued from Bacha Khan Markaz on Thursday, ANP provincial president Aimal Wali formally approved Arbab Nadem Khan, of Lala Killay, as member of the provincial council of the party and a notification was issued in this regard. Arbab Tahir Nadeem, who had been associated with the Pakhtun nationalist party since his student life, had also contested for National Assembly constituency NA-27 in Peshawar during the 2018 elections on the ANP ticket against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s Noor Alam Khan. It was not his native constituency but he had contested the elections on the party’s central command and had secured considerable votes.
